Some breeds talk more than others, and they just love hearing the sound of their meows. Enter the Siamese cats.
A Siamese cat tends to meow a lot because they want to seek attention from their owners. This very domesticated pet knows that if she makes noise for long enough, you will play with her, feed her, or let her into your room.
While this is one of the things that draws many people to Siamese cats in the first place, it can also be a bit…annoying! Especially when you’re trying to sleep!
Avoiding your pet can be hard when they keep on talking too much. A good idea would be placing your cat in a separate area together with its water, food, toys, and litter where your pet will lessen the disturbance to your sleep. When you continue ignoring your cat, it will eventually stop disturbing you.
There are times that your cat is just bored especially when they are left alone with nothing to do. You can come up with daily interactive activities with your cat so that she will be happy and get too tired to even meow at your door.
If you notice more meowing than you’re used to. In other words, if your cat is meowing a lot more than she ever had before you may be dealing with a medical issue. In this case, it may not be so cute and could be a sign that they’re uncomfortable!
We always recommend that you don’t try to self-diagnose! Instead, find a solid veterinarian and let them know you’ve noticed a lot more meowing than you’ve seen in the past!
